1.6 smoke is not white. its grey. and cs2d smoke is not black, its also grey (but a bit darker)

I think there is no change needed. of course it is different but you have also to consider that in cs 1.6 smoke can make a whole corridor "sniper-safe" (at least from one direction). In cs2d a smoke grenade hides only everything in its closer range because of the top down perspective. everything else is still visible.
If I would make the smoke more transparent I could also remove the smoke grenade from the game because it would be too weak. And adding something that makes your whole screen smoky when you stand close to a smoke grenade would be a pretty stupid effect in my eyes.

no way that I change something there.

This is the main thing, there are a few others, but I'm sure everyone else has mentioned these, and I don't want to sound demanding.

Such a GREAT JOB DC is doing on CS2DMAX!

you know, people mostly uses cheat engine to cheat, so most likely yes

yes.. cs2dmax will be able to detect some of these apps (however the routine to check this is pretty simple). you could help by giving me a list of all "memory hack"-programs you know.

I already added detection for
• memhack
• cheat engine
• t-search
• hexedit

What about safe programmes like GameTracker will I be able to record how much I play CS2D max, without getting kicked because of so called "Cheating"? lol.

In the current version the cheat protection tells I'm cheating. Because I'm running GameTracker, my guess is that CS2D thinks it's a hack or something, although it's really not. It counts how many minutes/hours/days you play and registers the total time at FPSB.

I'm really worried about that. Perhaps GameTracker could be excluded? since it's a good game counter.

thats really weird because the current cs2d release has no protection against certain programs. I can't exclude something which is not included at all

of course this detection is poor. the guest is right. however there might be people out there which do not have the idea to rename their programs. its just an additional simple routine and of course I do NOT rely on it.

I have a suggestion,

In the map editor, why not allow users to add in their own cpu bots. Like neither CT or T, So people can make their own storyline/mods and work together instead of constantly killing each other.

Would be pretty funny adding civilians to the game, you could give them waypoints and they would walk that way the entire game and you could kill them, etc. Basically they are like hostages but they walk like bots and they don't got weapons and they can't be rescued.
