Then that would suggest your problem is the network, as the computer is awaiting for a response from STEAM/U.S.G.N..

I'm sure some of the game developers can shed more light on this.

@user zaerda1: Are you using any firewalls (software or hardware)? Try to add an exception for CS2D.exe then. You can consider to also add an exception for the default Windows firewall (even though that one shouldn't cause trouble). Anti virus software might also be an issue. I wouldn't recommend to use any extra anti virus software except for the one built-in into newer Windows versions.

I'm afraid there's currently no option to disable avatars in the end round banners.

@user DC: well i tried adding cs2d.exe to windows firewall exclusives and also to windows defender exclusives, none worked, same issue.

any other possible fixes?... i really hope this reaches the dev of this game so he attempts to find a fix for this preferably

or at least he adds the option to disable avatars in end round banners..

It did reach him. I'm the dev of this game.
Didn't hear reports about this problem yet. Micro freezes are common with the avatar downloads but big freezes are new to me. Unfortunately I don't know why you're experiencing these issues. Will consider to add an option which disables all avatar downloads.

and @user mrc: if you are asking how i disabled scoreboard avatars, i went to the "more" section in the options menu and there was a scoreboard tab.

Ok so i found this really weird bug when you turn on recoil influences accuracy, tesla coil turns into a machine gun which deals 0 damage, is this supposed to be normal?

@user Gaios: I did, I made it from scratch. I'm just reviewing and I'll send to DC. But some texts are missing or has bugs. For example, all items from wrench menu aren't translated in-game even when translated in the file (and tons of others).

Languages (and the whole game) were working fine until 1.0.0.2, 1.0.0.3 and later versions exploded everything, coincidentally the first version for Steam broke the game. To get those outdated versions, they can be found here: https://cs2darchive.com/downloads

No matter the topic is old but there is a problem with accuracy.
As I have noticed meanwhile playing ak-47 dispersion is working not fine and always going "left" side and middle (depending on player rotation, his sight). Some other weapons also has shit dispersion but ak is problem. Seems like this weapon has no right variation and only left/mid:

I can't reproduce it. Even when shooting in comparable angles as you did. When I use the AK 47 the shots go randomly left and right of the crosshair and not just left. Same for every other weapon with dispersion > 0.

The thing is: With cs2d cmd mp_recoil 0 (default) dispersion is an entirely random offset (no fixed spray pattern) in both directions. It works the very same (meaning same code) for all weapons. Only difference is the amount of offset (aka dispersion) which is defined per weapon. It's a single value for both directions. So it should be technically impossible that a single weapon behaves differently and goes more into one direction than any other weapon.

I'm sorry but I have no explanation for this and also no idea why this happens on your PC. Note however that the random offset of the server is used for actual hit calculation. It's different from the locally displayed offset (both are random and not synched).

oh it cause on OpenGL mode. DirectX is fine.. but that's weird anyway.

edit: / After I switch to DirectX and then back to OpenGL the visual problem is faded. that's way more odd.

edit: // Again after I switch to OpenGL the visual thing show me now "RIGHT" side ak-47 dispersion, not even mid :C

Sometimes burst (Glock and Famas) goes straight, and it only fixes when changing maps, I don't know if it would be for the same reason. If I were to report every bug the game has, it would make a book.

Using a custom buy menu (mp_buymenu) and letting out whole groups will break the buymenu (b):

Recreate:
I made my own (non-dedicated) server with mp_buymenu setting set to 1,2,3|10|30,35|40|51 (skipping all sub-machine guns!)

Then the ingame buy menu (b) displays guns in wrong groups.
Because the Sub-Machine guns are missing, the AK47 and AWP will be displayed in the Sub-machine gun buy group, the m429 Machine Gun is in rifles, the equipment is in "Machine Gun" (everything after sub machine guns is shifted by 1 because sub machine guns are missing)

Bullets in this game.. THey not synced with server and client. So because of that hit effect (blood) is fake, when u see blood but in fact it not synced and u miss.

Sometimes it cause such image, when somebody u see is firing the box but damages u. It might be bad sync or maybe bugs with bullets.
-sure I have to listen for playerhit sound but i play with music, i need orient.

@user Mora: That's not a bug. It's by design. The client instantly visualizes shots without waiting for the server response because everything else would feel laggy and very bad.
