Axel340: Next time just go to the map editor. Place Env_NPC on the map, then click on it. The ID is shown before the NPC's name in the menu (Top right corner). It's quicker 
You can do the same with the weapons of course.

Click on map editor than place Env_NPC anywhere and click on it then you see the NPC list (1. Zombie, 2. ...)! Exactly the same with weapons just place Env_wpn (Or something like that!).
