I restore the server and again as in the tutorial DannyDeth and get a 'screen / home/cs2d/server1/cs2d_dedicated', I still had the message:

Cannot open your terminal '/dev/pts/0' - please check.

and removing 'screen', the server is started, but now if I close the server will close also function without 'screen'?

Just close the putty window, do not press ctrl-c because that will close the server.

To close the server after closing the putty window simply type

killall cs2d_dedicated, if you happen to be running more than 1 server, you should make sure they have different executable names.

However if you do have 2 of the same names running just type top and find the one you want to kill, then press 'k' and type in the pid of the cs2d_dedicated you want to kill.

I just recommend renaming if you want to open 2 servers, and typing killall name to close.

$ which screen
I highly doubt you actually have screen, or if you do, you have a severly outdated version, and not the newest GNU one.

EDIT: No, dammit, no. Start screen without any arguments and then create a new window with Ctrl+A and C, then start the servers within each window using:
1
$ exec /home/cs2d/server1/cs2d_dedicated

So... this:
1
2
3
$ screen
( HUGE MESSAGE I DON'T FEEL LIKE TYPING )
$ [Hit Enter or Space]
Now it opens screen, you need to create a new window for each server you want to host.. so:
1
2
3
4
[shell prompt] $ [Hold down Ctrl+A and hit C]
[another shell prompt ] $ exec /home/cs2d/server1/cs2d_dedicated
######################################
CS2D dedicated message
Actually, can you PLEASE specify the EXACT error message?
