I would love to present to you my new map. It's basically a remake of the first map I ever uploaded.
The changes are tremendous.
More complex and difficult
I had to get rid of some stages when porting map to a new engine in order get higher fps overall.
Meaning that there are less of "turret hells" and more of interesting challenges.
A lot of lua tweaks
There was no lua map file in the first version of this map. Because I did not really knew how to program.
I tried hard not to "create new game" but rather add some features that make gameplay more convenient and pleasant.
Those features added by lua include:
- Checkpoints, that can be activated out of order. They can also trigger other entities.
- Moving platforms. Settings for them are available in ingame editor (Custom speed, range, direction).
- Areas that give you a speedboost. Amount of speedboost and area of effect can also be manipulated in editor.
- Timer that lets you know how slow were you going (starting at the beginning of the round until the end of it).
More fun
Some tweaks were made just to negate slow aspects of the map.
- Supply boxes now provide tools that will help you pass "hard" stages. (super supply gives you laser and super armor ;))
- Building speed is instant (thanks to Dark Soul)
- Gutbombs actually deal a lot of damage and can be used to destroy turrets (Modified version of lua by Patasuss)

Talented Doge: Scientists are still trying to find its secret yet they also know that they won't find it while he's spent more labor to description instead of file itself.

Map export is not the prettiest of things. You can always look at the minimap using magnifying glass right after screenshots.
